If you haven’t perused the Instagram of Lindsay Lohan recently, you’ve missed several riveting moments in the actress’ life, including a plate of shrimp scampi, some inspirational quotes and a shot of her Bitmoji avatar sitting on the can. Most recently, the 29-year-old posted a photo of herself dressed up like Sharon Tate — coincidentally, on Charles Manson’s 81st birthday.

In the pic, Lohan is seen wearing a crop top and shorts set with thigh-high boots. The caption includes the hashtags, “#cancer meets #AQUARIUS,” “I LOVE SHARON TATE” and “#hippieWINTERCHIC.” While it’s unclear whether she was aware the shot was posted on Manson’s birthday, some of Lohan’s followers criticized the actress for her “tackiness,” reports Gossip Cop. “How tacky…Sharon Tate was brutally murdered,” wrote one commenter. Another wrote, “Sharon Tate died a tragic death. Is there ANYTHING you won’t do for attention?”

Perhaps this is Lohan’s way of letting the world know she’s still interested in portraying the slain actress on the big screen. In 2011, she was reportedly set to play Tate in a Tyler Shields-directed biopic called Eyes of a Dreamer. Maybe there’s still time for Lohan to at least get in on the Lifetime movie version.
