The ads for the Ashton Kusher-Cameron Diaz comedy What Happens in Vegas boast that the film is "the first big comedy of the summer." Based on these same ads, however, I'm pretty sure that it's the first big-budget sucky movie of the summer. Confirming my theory are the sartorial choices made by those in attendance at the movie's premiere in Los Angeles last night. Brooke Burns, Diablo Cody, Eva Longoria, Michelle Krusiec, Tamara Mowry, and Soleil Moon Frye (!) were all there. And looking bad. (Sorry Diablo.) The stars came out for the premiere of the Eva Longoria-starrer Over Her Dead Body last night, a film that we're pretty sure is going to be one of the worst movies of 2008. (We'll let you know what the critics say on Friday.) The fashions on the red carpet for the premiere, however, were some of the best we've seen in the 30 days since the year began: Christina Applegate looked chic in all-black; Jason Biggs' girlfriend Jenny Mollen was adorable, and hell, even Nicolette Sheridan pulled it together.
