John Oliver Has Figured Out How Politicians Can Get the Woman Vote

Somehow it’s (thankfully) escaped our notice that Britain’s Labour party has painted a bus pink and is driving it around to talk to women “around the kitchen table” about politics. Oh dear. Well, UK native John Oliver took on this “Barbie bus” on Last Week Tonight Sunday, mocking up his own version of how this attempt to appeal to women could be even worse.

“It is a little insulting that you’re trying to appeal to adult women voters the same way that Mattel tries to appeal to 8-year-olds,” he said. “And at least Barbie’s pink bus had the good sense to fold into a sweet hot tub and party den combo.” It’s true, I’d vote for that.
