James Franco Shared Naked Selfie Because It's 'What the People Want'

“There’s a lot to get straight here and I don’t even know if we have time,” said James Franco to David Letterman on Thursday night. Franco was responding to questions about his recent Instagram activity, which he said is mainly meant to entertain his fans.

Franco tried to explain to Letterman that the pictures he takes and posts to his Instagram—a public social media account—are just for his followers. “It’s not like I’m putting that on billboards,” said Franco. “Instagram is for my fans.” All 2,028,704 of them.

“But now all the bloggers are on there so they’ll just take it and use whatever they want,” he said. Goddamn blogger assholes. When will they ever learn?

“I didn’t ask you to look at it,” Franco said to Letterman. “It’s what the people want.”
