J.Crew Exec Makes Rosé-Fueled Hunger Games Jokes After Mass Firings 

Immediately following the layoffs of 175 J.Crew staff members last week, Alejandro Rhett, VP of men’s merchandising, went out drinking.

According to Page Six, Rhett, who had delivered the bad news to several fired staffers at J.Crew’s New York City headquarters, went out afterwards with several of his still-employed colleagues. He proceeded to post several celebratory photos to Instagram, using cool tags such as #roseallday, #gonegirl #hungergames, #jcrewcrew, #maytheoddsbeeverinyourfavor, #forthewin, and #damnitfeelsgoodtobeagangster.

The photos have since been taken down. A company spokesman told Page Six that J.Crew “does not condone” Rhett’s behavior, and said “As soon as we were made aware, the appropriate actions took place.” The company did not elaborate as to what constituted “appropriate actions.”

Being a sociopath looks really fun, though!
