Last night at the London premiere of Catching Fire, the ladies were all about making an impact in vibrant colors. Some of them looked great! Shall we take gander?

Liam Hemsworth looks swell in charcoal gray. Josh Hutcherson's natty in a single-breasted coat and skinny tie. Sam Clafin — aka Finnick — rocks a double-breasted suit without a tie. Is this okay? Do we approve?

Digging the saucy, fiery one-shouldered dress on violinist Linzi Stoppard. And while November seems like an odd time to wear it, I'm also a big fan of the bright, cheerful strapless number on Ashley Roberts (formerly of the Pussycat Dolls). Sophie Ellis Bextor's playful blue frock is adorable but doesn't seem formal enough… although it's not like she's in the movie, so hey. A band of silver at the waist of the gown on Peaches Geldof keeps it from looking like she forgot her top.

Sunny yellow in November? Sure, Willow Shields (aka Primrose Everdeen). Why not. Awesome shoes, btw.

We've seen a zillion iterations of sheer/illusion/net/lace on the red carpet over the last few years, but singer Ellie Goulding looks fab and something about the swirls makes this feel different.

More sheer/nude illusion on Jena Malone. Conflicted. With regards to the dress: Love the color, love the shape, unsure about the arm fringe. Hate the hair. Should it have been styled softer? Hmm.

While Willow Shields' yellow seemed too summery, Elizabeth Banks rocks vibrant goldenrod and it makes sense somehow. Golden, autumnal, regal, divine.

Finally, your BFF Jennifer Lawrence in Christian Dior, obviously. Little surprises — cutouts, sequins, draping, open back — make for lively, innovative, modern vibe. This dress — which looks slightly different on the runway — is not easy to pull off, thanks to a high neckline, low waistline and a column-like, non-figure-hugging skirt. But Katniss makes it work because Katniss rules.
