Yesterday on Judge Judy, a woman was suing a teenager and her mother for medical bills that the teen incurred while she was staying at the plaintiff's home. The teen was dating the plaintiff's son and got a nasty UTI — she says it's a chronic problem that "runs in the family" — so the plaintiff took her to the emergency room. The teen's mother didn't want to pay the medical bills because she would've preferred the girl just drank water and cranberry juice.
