BREAKING: Arizona Governor Jan Brewer has vetoed SB102, controversial anti-gay bill, saying that the bill does not express an immediate, pressing concern for the state. "I took the necessary time to make this decision," she said. Brewer said while the bill claimed to be a religious freedom bill to protect businesses, she had not heard one specific example of a business' religious freedom being violated, which would merit such a bill. She said her legislative priority was to fix the state's "broken" child protection services; however, this was the first policy bill she was presented with this session. Protestors cheered outside as she read her decision.
