The track is basically a tear-down, a dis track, and Nicki comes out swinging against her unnamed opponent (perhaps Lil' Kim?) Nicki's lighting-fast flow is limber, and some of the lyrics are clever — "I'm Angelina, you Jennifer, come on, bitch, you see where Brad at?" Or as one half of the duo "Mickey & Sylvia," who sang "Love Is Strange," which was a hit in 1957 — and again in 1987, as part of the Dirty Dancing soundtrack. But she also — along with her husband, Joe — founded Sugar Hill Records in 1979 and released the hip hop classic "Rapper's Delight." She's being called a pioneer and "the mother of hip-hop."
