Hillary Clinton Makes It Official And Announces Run For Presidency

Latest

Since this morning, we’ve had our eyes on Hillary Clinton’s social media channels, waiting for the official announcement of her second run for presidency. Instead of booming fanfare in the form of a tweet or an Instagram of The Rock making the statement (my fantasy which will sadly never happen because he’s a Republican), the news of her 2016 presidential bid came in a more subtle form—via an email from to her campaign chairman, John Podesta.

According to the NY Times, Podesta sent the email, which read, “I wanted to make sure you heard it first from me – it’s official: Hillary’s running for president,” to donors and other campaign supporters. It also discussed an upcoming meet with voters in Iowa and a formal event to kickoff the campaign next month. Shortly afterwards, hillaryclinton.com was updated with the official news and a video.

With H.C. already experiencing a boatload of problems even before her campaign started, there’s no doubt her second race to The White House will be an interesting one to watch.
