Hilary Duff, Sutton Foster and Debi Mazar to Star in New TV Comedy

Latest

In some of the best casting heard in awhile, TV Land is definitely going ahead with their new comedy from the producer of Sex and the City called Younger, set to debut in the fall.

The Wrap reports that Darren Star’s show will star Sutton Foster, Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar and Miriam Shor. Back in January it was announced that the show – which is based on the novel of the same name by Pamela Redmond Satran – would follow Foster as “a 40-something woman who reinvents herself and starts living a double life; one as a suburban mom and another as a 29-year old working girl in the city, after her husband leaves her and her child goes to college.” It’s now been announced that Mazar will play her best friend and Shor will be her boss. The bottom line here is that we get a potential Lizzie McGuire comeback, the star of Bunheads, the only watchable part of Entourage and the saving grace of the quickly cancelled G.C.B. all in one show.
