They grow up so quickly.

For her new role in Sophia Coppola's The Bling Ring — a film about a bunch of sexy brats who stole shit from celebrities homes in the mid-2000s — Emma Watson had to learn to turn it out like a pro on the pole. Her takeaway? That shit is mad hard.

While studying at Oxford, Watson travelled to London for weekend pole dancing lessons.

I had this surreal experience where I was studying the modernists, writing about Virginia Woolf on Friday night, then driving to London for pole dancing classes on Saturday morning.

I'm not sure that's surreal so much as... college? Sorry, I mean university. Study hard, pole dance harder.

As for the difficulty factor, Watson says pole dancers need serious muscles to maneuver around that thing.

I was incredibly ungraceful at first. The upper-body strength and the core strength you need to do it gracefully is crazy.

I take my hat off to the women who can do it. You have to be incredibly strong.

Truth — it looks like a crazy good workout, if you can hoist yourself onto that thing. Can you do it in pajamas? Because if so, I might be game.
