Here's Jennifer Lawrence in a Totally See-Through Dress 'Cause Why Not

Last night was the Los Angeles premiere of the Hunger Games. I know what you’re thinking: “Why does this movie get so many goddamn premieres?” The answer is (probably) that there will be one premiere for every time I vomit from sadness during the course of the film. Anyway, the stars all looked extremely gorgeous and Jennifer Lawrence wore the best dress ever. In addition, Jaden Smith donned the Outfit of the Year.

Let’s have a look:

Jennifer Lawrence wore… you will never guess… Dior! It’s an absolutely stunning sheer gown — possibly the best sheer look I’ve seen all year. The bathing suit-like garment she wore underneath notably did not appear on the runway [link NSFW].

More shots of J-Law’s dress because why not. And one with the whole tortured love triangle.

Woody Harrelson showed up looking like a cool dad on his way to your dance recital. Josh Hutcherson‘s suit was a suit. Liam Hemsworth needs to do his buttons.

Elizabeth Banks looked gorgeous in a strapless Versace gown. Her hair and makeup perfectly complemented the Old Hollywood glamor she effused.

Jena Malone (who plays Joanna in the movie) also opted for sheer and also looked fantastic. I’m obsessed with her Nicholas Oakwell gown — SHE LOOKS LIKE A PERSON WHOSE NUDITY WAS CENSORED BY THE HANDS OF ANGELS.

Okay, these are the best looks of the night. Willow Smith and Jaden Smith sported silk loungewear (and serious attitude). Jaden topped his ensemble off with two different sneakers, which is a masterful touch.

Joe Jonas wore experimental houndstooth or something; his girlfriend Blanda Eggenschweiler lived up to her first name in booooring ruffles and cream. Lenny Kravitz looked perfect in leather pants and silver shoes; Zoe Kravitz rocked a “beautiful minimalistic fashion-witch” look. Sam Claflin, who plays Finnick, looked disheveled but who cares it’s Finnick.

More beautiful sheer! Bella Thorne looked absolutely lovely in a more modest take on the trend; Willow Shields (PRIMROSE!) very appropriately wore a rose pattern; Stephanie Leigh Schlund (who plays Cashmere) doing the sheer with embellishments thing that Givenchy did best last season and then everyone copied less successfully.

Ashlee Simpson wore a fringe peplum and would thus be put in jail overnight if the Fashion Police really existed; television personality Erin Andrews wore a dress with interesting cutouts but picked horrible shoes; Kylie Jenner continued to be a cool tween who wears black lipstick.

Sarah Hyland looked gladiatorial in gold; Isabelle Fuhrman (Clove from the first movie)’s dress was fine, but her shoes look like something you’d order online before going to an EDM festival; Kiernan Shipka kept it simple and clean.

Meta Golding (Enobaria) looked stunning in a dress with a dramatic slit; Stef Dawson (who plays Annie Cresta) wore a emerald, and it was nothing to write home about; Emily Osment (HANNAH MONTANA’S FORMER BFF) looked stylish in a geometric-print maxi dress.
