Guitar-Playing Star of 'Inside Llewyn Davis' Is Your New Boyfriend

This is Oscar Isaac, star of the new Coen brothers film Inside Llewyn Davis playing Katy Perry’s “Roar” on his acoustic guitar on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. He is my new imaginary boyfriend, and now he is yours, too.

A few things, just to get them out there: I saw Inside Llewyn Davis a few weeks ago because my non-movie, non-imaginary boyfriend is in the Writers Guild, and it’s a great film. Go see it. It feels like crawling into a sleeping bag next to a cozy fireplace and having a 3 day long existential crisis about the sacrifices we make for our passions, about obsolescence, about perseverance and responsibility and the consequences of shirking said responsibility. There’s a cat, there’s an abortion storyline, there’s John Goodman being John Goodman. The soundtrack isn’t bad, either.

I also sort of remember it being about me really wanting to bone Llewyn Davis and his perfect 60’s beard.

This was a movie review.
