Please tell me the cakes from CakeLove are good, because we totally just ordered a custom cake for my dad without ever tasting anything from this bakery. Granted, if I had remembered his birthday was tomorrow earlier, I could have sourced or made a German chocolate cake, but I guess any bakery with multiple locations and the ability to order custom cakes online with 24 hours notice has got to be at least decent, right?
In unrelated news, if I were a normal healthy person I would totally be doing a tri-state drugstore search for Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure nail polish.
Also, I wish this House marathon was enough to distract me from the fact that we're housing my uncle this weekend for the Restore Honor rally. Instead, every commercial break I keep thinking about the...interesting...conversations sure to happen this evening.
I need to either get well enough to get out of the house, or get sick enough to stay in my room all evening.
@Jadis4742: I will admit to pleading "mixed connective tissue disease = no visiting my crazy sister with the crazy uncle from oklahoma who has a fallout shelter stocked with spam" but dare i say i'm actually kindof glad that he and my far saner sister and aunt stayed a couple of days with us.
That does not, however, mean that I'm meeting my (truly nuts...my father's 6 siblings are like something out of an epic novel saga) aunt in the city who thinks that i should be doing kelation treatments because she thinks that's why my cousin's RSD is currently in remission.
(oh and yes indeed my father's genetic line really should not have continued...we're like the Irish enemy of evolution)
