This weekend I bought a "Chameleon" dress. It has a plethora of draw strings and zippers to wear it a bunch of different ways, and there's even a way to fold the skirt up so it turns into pants or a jumpsuit. So imagine the jumpsuit: a tube top or halter top on top, fitted at the waist cause of one of the draw strings, and then loose, pretty wide legged pants. I'm short so they end at a bit of a weird point on me, maybe about capri length. I'm kind of obsessed with the jumpsuit idea; for some reason I find it super comfy (fond memories of wearing a onesie?) and in my mind it's retro and cute. My roommate seems to think I'm slightly unhinged.
What do you all think? Crazy cakes, or appropriate to wear in public?

@forgetfulgirl: I got it at a Renaissance faire over the weekend. I bought a convertible dress a few months ago that can be a skirt/look a few different ways on top, but this thing is even crazier. It has can be pants/shirt/dress/jumpsuit/whatever, and be a bag or a laundry bag, and it folds up into a pouch the size of a frisbee but has enough fabric to be a sleeping bag. I'm going on a big trip this summer and justified the expense because I'm pretty sure I will need to pack like two other things and be set.
@whatwouldjanedo: Crazy! I've seen dresses that can be worn many ways before, but never one that can convert to a jumpsuit... I say wear it as a jumpsuit.
