So, ladies and gents, I will be going to Barnes & Noble today to pick up The Book That Must Not Be Named, and I'm thinking of picking up Charlaine Harris' Dead Until Dark. I have the money, but I always feel guilty about buying things I may not need. And I just bought Graceling (which will last me the weekend at most). Thoughts? Are they any good?

@madeofawesome: You can never own too many books. And you might not be able to get back to the store when you finish because of all the crazy holiday people!

@madeofawesome: My philosophy is that you can never have too many books. Sure, you could survive without them, but do you really want to? ;)

A co-worker gave me a Chapters gift card for Christmas this year and I just bought Jung Chang's biography of Mao with it. I am so stoked to read it.

@madeofawesome: I loved Graceling. Fire is the prequel, it's okay but get it from the library if you want to read it.

The other books on your list I haven't read.

@madeofawesome: Yes! I love the Sookie Stackhouse books. Super entertaining, and they aren't that expensive if you get the little paperbacks.

@madeofawesome: If you like Graceling (which was really good), get Hunger Games. Not the same at all, but for some reason I think they are similar.

@trikota: I've actually read Hunger Games. I liked it a lot better than Graceling. I just felt that if *I* had written Graceling, it would have been better. The ending kind of grated me.
