After watching Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane on the Style network, we're ashamed to admit it, but we actually like her. Yeah, she's demanding and materialistic and a diet-freak weirdo about food but she's totally aware of herself. It's difficult being a boss when you're a woman because you're perceived as a bitch if you don't carefully balance your every action. She's tough on her staff, but only when it's warranted (or at least, that's how it was edited to look on the show). And yes, she did make a grown man cry in the clip above, but that's only because he's a pussy.

I wish someone who worked for me would scream back at me like that...shiiiiittte!
Of every single lady celeb I've grown tired of over the years, I've always held a torch for Kimora. Why? Clips like this. She's demanding, sure, but also intelligent.
1- She has a staff member named Chandalier?
2- His tat looks strangely like an avocado...
I have a feeling Chandelier is a firm/agency they're working with. I hope to goodness gracious that is not some poor girl's given name.
She comes off a lot more intelligent on these clips than she did on that cheesy talk show Life and Style where she was always acting like a screamy drag queen to win over audience members.
But I have always kinda loved her.
I always got the feeling that she was control of everything you thought about her. She decided what she wanted you to think, she became it, and then you thought it. Here she wants me think that she is hugely fab. And I do.
@bifteck: yes, it's the name of an agency, however a girl named "treasure" waited on me at bed, bath, and beyond in queens this weekend.
she's like ari gold in stilettos.
I feel like if Kimora was yelling at me I probably deserved it. Her point made to the guy who started crying was completely legitimate. It's his job to work with the budget--if that woman didn't get him the budget until 6 days before the event that's his failure as well.
She's so blunt and on point, I love it.
Does the crying guy have a stylized Dark Mark tattoo?
I was surprised by how much I liked her on this show, especially after reading this Vanity Fair profile on her. Methinks her likability is in the editing.
I like how she admitted why she isn't in a good mood. I wish more people did that instead of just popping off and leading me to think they are just crazy.
shes a positive influence for those that grow up in the ghetto. i love her.
here's a link to the full first episode: [blackvoices.aol.com]
i too wasn't a fan until i saw this. i love here little girls they are too cute when they are making those cupcakes!
did she make that guy cry?
i met her at about a year ago, and though we only spoke for about 90 seconds, she managed to come off as intelligent, funny, warm, and kind of awesome all at once.
...and maybe im a little bit biased, as she also told me that i was "very good looking."
Thanks for the info because I refuse to watch this--she revolts me
And that Hello Kitty jewelry that no sane person would ever buy--made w/diamonds from mines staffed by the poorest of the poverty-struck!
I love the part where her head starts spinning, and she spews green stuff at her entire staff, and starts screaming "F*CK ME!! F*CK MEEEEEEEE!!!"
@no.no.notorious: Yeah. I bet she uses apostrophes.
shes fantastic.
Her recent Baby Phat ads were undeniably hot. And what's more: she doesn't come off slutty taking sexy photos for ads, like Lindsay Lohan for instance. She comes off as classy and really, really good-looking.
I haven't even seen the clip yet and I love her. I bought her book Fabulosity just for the name but it's acually a great feel-good book. I must say though, her designs are still trashy and naff...
I like her, I just wonder why she hires incompetent over-emotional dicktards when she could hire someone capable and professional. God. I mean, I have cried at work, but not because of valid, constructive, totally-on-the-money criticism. What's wrong with a "god, you're right, I really let you down, it won't happen again" approach?
I hate stupid people who work like a-holes. She needs to fire that douche.
She is a horrible human being and would be nothing without Russell's money. A woman who goes to a charity function and taunts people by telling them they couldn't afford her shoes--as she did a few years back--doesn't deserve this much attention.
The book is a piece of shit and her clothing line is hideous. The clock is ticking loud and clear--your ten minutes are almost up.
There was a similiar article (to the one in Vanity Fair) in New York Magazine a few years back:

@hamburgerhotdog: how's the view from atop that horse?
maybe you're just jealous since she has millions and you're here commenting on a blog?
@bourgeoisie: just to clarify, kimora can be rough around the edges and her language can be colorful, but i didn't see anything in either article that made her look like an asshole
