Apparently white women were the only ones having lots of drunk, safe sex in the late '70s: Another curious thing about the October 1977 issue of Cosmopolitan is that there is nary a woman of color to be found, both on editorial and advertising pages. Except Iman! The Somali model (then 22 years old) had an entire advertising spread all to her lonesome... shilling for some scent called "Tigress".
