Garfunkel and Oates Harmonize Their Way to an IFC Show

Coming in 2014, you’ll be able to watch Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci — better known as Garfunkel and Oates — strum their way onto your TVs and into your hearts on their IFC variety show.

Called Garfunkel and Oates, the show’s first season will consist of 10 episodes. Here’s the plot description:

Garfunkel and Oates will spotlight the personal and professional lives of the duo whose career choices – singing satirical and sometimes dirty songs – leaves them with little in common with their peers, and no one but each other to turn to for support and understanding.

Sounds good! As long as they feature lots of songs about being awkward and the 90s*, it’ll probably be a very enjoyable time.

*For the record, I love over half the songs in that medley.
