FKA Twigs' Cover of "Stay With Me" Is Perfection

Oooooof. Gloucestershire native and soundtrack curator of your nightly dreams FKA Twigs stopped by the Live Lounge at BBC Radio 1, and brought her not-quite-minimalist electro-ethereal style to Sam Smith’s hit “Stay With Me.” And my, does the lady slay it.

On her decision to cover the song:

“I’m covering Sam Smith’s ‘Stay With Me’. … There was one line which basically alludes to saying, ‘I’m not in love with you and maybe this isn’t a serious thing, but it’s perfect for right now and it’s what I need emotionally right now,’ and maybe that’s just something that I have related to.”
