Too much light can make it difficult for teens to get to bed, the professors claim.
• A New Jersey Supreme Court has rejected a case that could have lead to legalization of same-sex marriage in the state. The case, which was filed in march, represented six gay and lesbian couples who wanted the court to intervene after "the state's 2006 civil union law had failed to grant them the full rights and benefits of heterosexual married couples."
• A priest has been accused of drowning a six-week-old child during the baptism ceremony. Witnesses say Father Valentin didn't put his hand over the baby's mouth before immersing him in the water to stop it from flowing into the infant's open mouth.
• African ancestry has been linked to a particularly aggressive form of breast cancer, known as "triple-negative" breast cancer. After looking at both Ghanaian and African-American women with breast cancer, doctors found that 82% of the African women had triple-negative cancer compared to 26% of Black American women.
