Evil Vet Kills Cat With Bow and Arrow

Latest

A Texas veterinarian thought it would be a cool idea to post her first bow-and-arrow kill on Facebook—an orange tabby cat that was believed to be someone’s lost pet. 31-year-old Kristen Lindsey later removed her horrifying post, but the image had already been screencapped and spread online, prompting the Austin Sheriff’s Department to launch an investigation. The veterinary clinic where she worked quickly terminated her employment.

According to Huffington Post (warning: graphic image), the caption for the photo read:

“My first bow kill lol. The only good feral tomcat is one with an arrow through its head! Vet of the year award … gladly accepted.”

She even thought it would be cute to throw in a couple of emojis in the post as well. Before she knew she had been fired, Lindsey followed up with another post saying:

“No I did not lose my job. Lol. Psshh. Like someone would get rid of me. I’m awesome!”

Right, because animal cruelty, especially by someone whose career is based on saving innocent animals, is totally awesome. Couldn’t this woman have played out her Katniss fantasies by shooting an arrow at an apple or a bag of potatoes? If anyone needs me I’ll be on my spaceship leaving this wack planet immediately.
