2012 Is The Year To Drunk-Shop For Electronics The recession continues to bite us in the collective ass, but take heart: DealNews has a list of 12 items that will be cheaper in 2012. These include houses, rental cars, a whole bunch of consumer electronics (Kindles, iPads, HDTVs) ... and wine. So even if you can't afford a trip abroad or a gold tennis bracelet (things DealNews says will be pricier this year), you can still go drunk-shopping for e-readers.
