But my response to this post would be that it's all about time commitment. As a single guy in his late twenties, I'm seeking a real relationship. I look at the situation as, yes, I might spend a small amount of time with female acquaintances every week, but I'm not planning weeknight activities with them. And I really don't see the point of that. We're all busy and distracted people in 2014. Personal time is precious. Any free time I have, I want to be meeting women who are intriguing and ACTUALLY interested in me romantically. Any time I devote to a female friend seems to pale in comparison or distract from relationship goals.
