This year is Diane von Furstenberg’s 40th anniversary, and what better way to celebrate than to send a fleet of DVF’s signature wrap dresses down the runway at New York Fashion Week?

The collection, which was titled “Bohemian Wrapsody,” was meant to pay tribute to the figure of a “glamorous vagabond,” the sort of free-spirited woman from whom von Furstenberg’s wrap dress was revolutionary four decades ago. But just because this line looked to the fashion house’s past doesn’t mean it wasn’t exciting and refreshing to behold: the bold prints stood out, especially on a series of cocoon coats and oversized furs.
