Daily Show Introduces You to the Most Homophobic Olympic Contenders

One of the biggest conversations dominating the lead-up to the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi has been the ethical implications of hosting the Winter Games in Russia, a country with policy that has become increasingly hostile towards the LGBTQ community over the past several years. But Russia isn’t the only competing country with a vast and violent history of homophobia. Uganda, India and Nigeria are all coming out strong in this year’s Anti Gay Olympic Games. But don’t rule out the homophobia of the good ol’ U.S. of A. We probably won’t take gold, but we’ll damn well try.
