Christian Bale + Jennifer Lawrence + 70s Sleaze = American Hustle

Here’s the groovy trailer for American Hustle, the new flick from David O. Russell, who wrote and directed Spanking the Monkey, my personal favorite Flirting With Disaster, Three Kings, The Fighter and Silver Linings Playbook.

The plot revolves around a con artist, and, as usual, Christian Bale does his very very best to Hide His Hotness. The less said about Bradley Cooper’s hair, the better. Jeremy Renner and his lapels are lookin’ good, though, and Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence are era-appropriately foxy.

Also this is my fall wardrobe inspiration.
