In a disturbing interview last night, former child actor Corey Feldman told Nightline that "the No. 1 problem in Hollywood was and is and always will be pedophilia." He says the "casting couch" — that is, the rumored tradition of directors and other higher-ups sleeping with young aspiring actresses — existed for child stars too, though it was more veiled. Later in the interview, he said that his friend Corey Haim's suicide could be traced back to abuse at the hands of a "Hollywood mogul." Previously, Feldman had told GQ that he was molested as a child by his own assistant. His allegation that such molestation is ongoing and widespread is a horrifying one. More »

Whenever stage moms or dads defend their decision to put their children in show business, they always say, "My kid has talent, I'm just helping him/her follow a dream. It's his/her choice." I Know My Kid's a Star is an elimination-based reality show consisting of teams of wannabe child stars and their stage parents. It might just be the most brilliant idea: Dashing the dreams of parents living vicariously through their children. All the people on the show are so over-the-top, so the fact that an Alexis Arquette-ish single mom named Rocky is like double the personality of anyone else is really saying something. She uses the word "frig," asks if her tampon string is hanging down from her skirt, and tells her daughter repeatedly that she needs to perform well so that they can buy a big house. She is instantly the breakout star of the show, which is probably the only way that she would have it. Clip above. More »

The Culkin brothers were such cute little boys, but unfortunately, the transition into adulthood hasn't been as visually pleasing. Where did it all go wrong? A rough time line has been created to "capture the pubertal repression of the cute gene" of the Culkin family. In the top row is big brother Macaulay, 26, then Kieran (the one from Igby Goes Down ) who's now 24, and Rory (the one from Signs) who just turned 18 last month.
