Jon Snow has lost his perfect, slightly bedraggled locks in favor of a shorter, straighter, more early 20th century English look for the upcoming BBC Films production of Testament of Youth. In adaptation of the best-selling World War I memoir of British writer, feminist, and pacifist Vera Brittain, Harington plays Roland Leighton, Brittain's love interest. Brittain herself will be played by Swedish actress Alicia Vikander, who appeared in The Fifth Estate and the 2012's Anna Karenina.

Man, Harrington's new look reminds me of Charlie Cox's Owen Slater in Boardwalk Empire, and you know, I'm cool with that. (Of course the new do could just be a fraudulent wig, seeing as he's supposedly not to lay a blade on those curls.)
