Carrie Fisher and Her Dog, Gary, Star in the Best Interview Ever

Latest

Carrie Fisher recently stopped by Good Morning America to talk about the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens film, and it might be one of the best interviews I have ever seen. First of all, Fisher brought a special guest, Gary, her French bulldog with a permanently stuck-out tongue. He would have almost stolen the show, if it weren’t for Fisher’s entertaining comebacks. This woman is on fire!

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Fisher said she brought along Gary because his tongue matched her pink sweater. When asked if it took some convincing to reprise her role as Princess Leia (now known as General Leia), she replied, “No, I’m a female in Hollywood, over the age of, let’s say 40 and then we could also say 50…not with real conviction or excitement. They don’t have to ask you if you want to work at that age, you’ll see someday.”

Fisher also discussed her weight loss for the film, though she “thinks it’s a stupid conversation” and said she wouldn’t talk about it normally. “But you’re so thin,” she told host Amy Robach. “Let’s talk about it. How do you keep that going on? … What music makes this worthwhile?” Fisher gives no fucks!

I want to see more of the dog. Maybe a comedy special between Carrie and Gary. Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters December 18.
