Black-ish Star Anthony Anderson Is Being Investigated for Alleged Sexual Assault
CelebritiesDirt BagAnthony Anderson, four-time Emmy award nominee and star of ABC’s black-ish, is being investigated by the Los Angeles police department for allegedly assaulting a woman after she catered one of his events.
As the Blast reports, the alleged victim filed the complaint earlier this year; the incident in question reportedly happened over a year ago. The woman and Anderson met up after their initial meeting to discuss business opportunities. It was at this second meeting that the alleged assault took place. According to sources, the woman felt comfortable sharing her story months after the fact in part because of the #MeToo movement.
While no further details about the incident have been released, the LAPD confirmed to the Blast, “We have a crime report listing him as a suspect in a crime,” adding, “It is an open investigation.” Anderson has robustly denied these allegations. A statement from a spokesperson for the actor reads, “It’s unfortunate that anyone can file a police report whether it is true or false. The authorities have not contacted Anthony or any of his representatives about this matter. Anthony unequivocally disputes the claim.”

Now, everything has to go through official Palace,” the source explains. “She doesn’t have her own publicist, she can’t make any comments on Twitter and she can’t reach out to him to tell him to stop speaking to the press. Her father’s comments have an effect on everything.”
I know she made her bed by marrying Harry and then must be forced to lie in said bed, literally and metaphorically, for the rest of her days, but seriously, this is a lot!
