A woman claiming to be Drake's ex-girlfriend and writing partner is suing the rapper for allegedly ripping her off (and for pretending they never dated, although that's not technically a criminal offense). In a lawsuit filed yesterday, Ericka Lee claimed that she and Drake agreed to write the song "Marvin's Room" together and split the cash. Lee recorded the hook, and says that Drake was thankful for her contribution: according to her, he sent her texts like, "U basically made that song" and "it's shit without you" while they were working together. Aw, how sweet. But Lee says she never got paid, even though the song was the first single off Take Care and scored No.7 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Chart and 21 on the Hot 100. That was the end of the cute texts as well. According to the lawsuit, when Lee asked for more money, Drake called her and said, "What the fuck is your problem?" before trying to settling out of court for $50,000. More »

Heather Locklear was rushed to hospital yesterday amid fears that a cocktail of pills and booze she'd taken could have killed her. Though it's unclear at this time if it was a deliberate suicide attempt, her sister was clearly worried enough to call the paramedics who, in turn, deemed it serious enough to take her to hospital. "Colleen was worried about Heather's state of mind and they were afraid she was going to harm herself," said a source. "She was afraid Heather was going to harm herself because of her drinking mixed with medication." Not coping so well since her broken engagement to Jack Wagner, her parents say that she's now "medically stable" and is going to be okay. "She is in no danger and she's going to be just fine," said Bill and Diane Locklear in a statement. Anna Wintour is apparently pulling strings to get fashion brands to design merchandise for Barack Obama's reelection. Under Wintour's program, called Runway to Win, goods from 22 designers including t-shirts, totes, and scarves will go on sale online this Thursday. Wintour has been a prominent Democratic fundraiser, and has hosted fêtes for Obama at her house. Runway to Win is modeled on a similar 2008 program organized by Wintour, called Runway to Change.
