Angelina Jolie Is Deliciously Wicked in the Teaser for Maleficent

Yesterday we got a chance to look at the poster for the dark Sleeping Beauty-inspired Disney flick Maleficent; today there’s a (too) short trailer.

Elle Fanning plays Princess Aurora; in the trailer she says, “I know who you are… you’ve been watching over me my whole life. Your shadow has been following me ever since I was small.” Then Maleficent slowly emerges from the dark woods, horns sharp, eyes gleaming, with cheekbones you could slice a ham on. Fierce.

There are a few shots of Maleficent summoning and commanding the forest of thorns to rise, and in general, she just looks awesomely evil. So excited.
