Get ready to fan-girl, everyone. We've reached out to the hilarious, charming and talented Amy Schumer and she has graciously agreed to take your questions.
Behind the scenes of the Good Ship Jezebel, we've all spent the last few months going a little Amy Schumer bonkers. Nary a day goes by that we don't trade some kind of link from her very funny Comedy Central sketch show Inside Amy Schumer — whether it be her genius Aaron Sorkin parody The Foodroom, her skewering of the way rape is handled in the military or her spot-on social commentary.
We're not the only fans. Inside Amy Schumer has been killing it in ratings, even beating its lead-in Tosh.0 (the most popular show on Comedy Central) in Nielsen numbers during its season 2 premiere. There's little doubt why. Inside Amy Schumer is smart, funny and relatable (sometimes painfully so) — the trifecta of excellent entertainment.
While her career has certainly blown up over the past few years, Amy Schumer is no rookie to comedy. She's been appearing in films and on television since 2007 (most notably on Louie, Girls, Delocated and her own stand-up specials) and has been working as a stand-up comedian for a full decade. In other words, she's an expert of the industry with a lot of interesting thoughts to share.
Submit your questions in comments! We will then pass the best of them along to Amy and post her answers next week.
