Think Pink

Think PinkUK Homeowners in a Suffolk village are being forced to paint their house pink to match its neighbors. Holly Bellingham, incidentally the first woman to sit on the board of Ipswich Town FC, has received a letter ordering her and her husband to paint their medieval home "Suffolk Pink," a strange muted dusky rose color. The rationale is that the house and adjoining 17th century buildings were originally a single structure and the rosy hue will somehow add to the village's historical accuracy. After reading this item several times, we remain baffled - although would have liked this as four-year-olds. [Telegraph]
