Thursday afternoon, protesters from the National Organization for Women and a new activist group called UltraViolet attempted to deliver a petition, signed by over 72,000 people, to the Reebok flagship store in Manhattan. The petition calls on Reebok to drop Rick Ross's endorsement contract — he's a face of Reebok Classics sneakers — because in a new song, Ross raps about drugging a woman and raping her. Reebok security guards prevented the protesters from delivering the petition. Reebok did not respond to Women's Wear Daily's requests for comment on the petition or Ross's relationship to the brand.
