Meet Britain's First Black MarchionessS

Meet Emma McQuiston, 26-year-old daughter of a Nigerian oil tycoon, former actress and "celebrity chef." She is engaged to Ceawlin Thynne, Viscount of Weymouth. His father is the "notorious" Marquess of Bath. His home, — Longleat House, a 100,000 acre estate — is pretty close to being Downton Abbey, except there's a safari and adventure park on the grounds. It will soon be Emma's home. When she marries Thynne, she will be the UK's first black marchioness. This ranking is above a countess, but below a duchess, FYI. The order goes like this: Dukes, marquesses, earls, viscounts, and barons. In addition to healthy recipes, Emma likes cute manicures and feeding giraffes.

In regards to being black royalty, McQuiston says: "There has been some snobbishness, particularly among the older generation." She adds: "I have never had anything horrible said or happen to me… But it is something you sense."
