Oh no: I see dead people. Specifically, Audrey Hepburn, who has been reanimated thanks to CGI and body double tricks, forced to ride a bus and eat Galaxy brand chocolate in this UK commercial. Advertising is supposed to be attention-grabbing, and this is, but only because her face is sooo uncanny valley real doll, it's like a car crash — you can't look away. Like Copyranter, I find the use of dead celebrities in advertising absolutely disgusting. It's not cool when Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe and Marlene Dietrich show up in that Dior perfume commercial. It's creepy. Zombie celebs walk among us! Audrey Hepburn was also in a Gap commercial back in 2006, but at least those were dance moves she actually performed in Funny Face. Oh, and ladies aren't the only ones forced to sell shit after death; remember Fred Astaire's 1994 vacuum commercial? The companies pay to license the likeness of the dead celebs, but there's something gross about using people who have no say in the matter. Ever heard the words rest in peace?
