Sure, the Oscars and the Super Bowl are just around the corner, but don't let that overshadow the year's two most adorable competitions — the Puppy Bowl and the more stuffy Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. While the Puppy Bowl has already announced its lineup (and, oh, what a lineup it is), little change has been expected about Westminster, but you know how it goes with dog shows — expect the unexpected. This year, the Westminster Kennel Club are expanding its limitations to allow for two new breeds, the Russell terrier and the Walker coonhound, bringing the number up to a whopping 187 breeds and varieties that will be represented at Madison Square Garden on February 11th.
Good luck to the newbies. Sure, those other dogs have years of experience on you, but you've got pluck and spirit, which, is all you need in the dog show world.
