Bright and early yesterday morning, 9-year-old Quvenzhané Wallis became the youngest person to ever be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress thanks to her role as Hushpuppy in Beasts of the Southern Wild. Jimmy Kimmel, wanting to give other young people a chance to shine, had his sidekick Guillermo take to the streets to ask other kids around Quvenzhané's age about what they had accomplished that morning. As it turns out, none of them had experienced anything as groundbreaking as an Oscar nod, but it also turns out that they couldn't care less. Man, kids are da best.
