Pizza Hut is releasing a perfume. Seriously. But if it seems like a joke, it's because that's how this all started. In an effort to get people talking about the pizza chain, an advertising agency that works with its Canadian branch posted on Facebook, "Do you love the smell of a box of Pizza Hut pizza being opened? We thought so. If that smell was a perfume, what would it be called?" Happy with the response, they decided to actually produce a limited quantity of Eau de Pizza Hut—which boasts "top notes of freshly baked, hand-tossed dough"—to give away to the company's Facebook fans, but leaving the option open for larger distribution in the future. Although this probably isn't what you were thinking when you wanted to smell good enough to eat. [Fashionista]

Pizza Hut Hawks Unholy Pizza-Scented FragranceIn an ongoing effort to help the brand break into high-end fashion, Playboy is launching a series of designer collaborations, starting with Cushnie et Ochs, who were recruited to design a limited-edition bra for the company. The result is this $650 leather harness bra that's not entirely dissimilar to those leashes people put on their wild toddlers. The bra will be available, eventually, at playboy.com, but for now, the designers, Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs, will host a pop-up lounge Wednesday during Art Basel Miami to celebrate the launch of the new line. Both the concept and execution of the shots for the newly released 2013 calendar—featuring naked models with their bodies painted to look like New York City "icons and scenes"—are SO America's Next Top Model photo shoot fodder. Naturally, because of the nudity, this would be the challenge that weeded out the religious girls that weren't willing to take off their clothes. [Fashionista]
  • This weekend's launch of the much-hyped collaboration between Target and Neiman Marcus was a total bust, according to Wall Street analysts, with sales falling way short of last year's frenzy over the limited edition line of Missoni products. Part of the problem could be the price points of the 50-piece collection, with many items costing about $100, which is unusually high for the discount retailer. [WSJ]
