Incarcerated Members of Pussy Riot Have Now Been Moved to Isolated Russian Prison ColoniesS

Jesus fucking Christ — it looks like things have gone from bad to worse for Maria Alekhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, the remaining jailed members of punk collective Pussy Riot. The pair have now been moved from a Moscow prison to separate prison colonies located, respectively, in the Perm region in the Urals and the central province of Mordovia to serve out the remainder of their 2-year sentence. Alekhina and Tolokonnikova have already spoken via letters smuggled out by their attorneys about the harsh conditions of Russian prisons and it's likely to be awhile before we hear comment from them again. The pair's attorney is not even 100% sure on the women's whereabouts, having only been informed about their transfer from prison authorities and not his clients themselves.
