The film won’t hit theaters until March of 2013, but the trailer for the remake of Carrie — based on the 1974 novel by Stephen King — has arrived. Like the 1976 film directed by Brian De Palma, this new version — starring Chloë Grace Moretz — features Carrie covered in blood. But that’s all we get to see, for now. There aren’t very many details in this trailer: A town is on fire and Carrie is pissed; someone in a voice over laments: “She wasn’t some monster… She was just a girl.” Can’t wait to see what else director Kimberly Peirce (who helmed the award-winning film Boy’s Don’t Cry) has up her sleeve.
