Sometimes the world just works exactly the way you always knew that it should but were too embarrassed to say that it should to all of your friends who pretend to read Proust and say things like, "I have the malaise." They indeed do have the malaise if they haven't yet read the bibliography-off that Patton Oswalt and Judy Blume had earlier today in the Twitterscape. It was magical. It was like getting stuck in the peppermint forest on the Candyland board and just hanging out there all day, eating candy canes and shooting the shit with the candy cane logger. The only thing that could really be better than this (for a Sunday, anyway) is if Calvin and Hobbes were real and they spoke at a TED Talk about the vividness of a small child's imagination.
Meant to go fast walking in Park hours ago. Now it feels too close to tomorrow morning and the usual walk to bother.Right?
