Milan Fashion Week marches on, and yesterday, Prada presented a Spring 2013 collection that seemed inspired by both traditional Japanese clothing and the ’60s. What does that mean? Kimono sleeves, Mary Quant-ish pop-art blooms, skirts folded like origami, collarless coats reminiscent of Courreges, and shoes made kind of like geta, with shiny leather tabi-type socks that separate the big toe from the rest of the foot.
