It feels like Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have been dressing up for promotional events for The Amazing Spider-Man for the past six months, but last night was the official red carpet premiere in California. Janice Dickinson was there, so we paid attention.
It's kind of weird to see a Dangerous Liaisons-type silhouette on a short skirt, but I do think that the pattern created by the intricate appliques on Emma Stone's dress is gorgeous.
Embeth Davidtz went with a theme brooch.
Little man Mason Cook was the best dressed on the red carpet. In a thumbnail I thought that Leif Gantvoort was also a child actor (maybe because of the sneakers?) and I was completely freaked out to see that he had stubble. Andrew Garfield's pants are so tailored that they're dangerously dipping a toe into skinny jeans territory.
Gowns: Anna Friel, Carly Steel, and Karina Smirnoff.
Osteoporosis be damned, Sally Field doesn't look a day over 40. Peyton List and Alex Lombard.
Dates: Janice Dickinson with her daughter Savannah, the unfortunately-named Booboo and Fivel Stewart, and the Paul Mitchell guy and his wife.
I guess I can't blame Peter Fonda for giving zero fucks about this premiere. But if his wife is going to wear a formfitting Hervé Léger, she'd be better off getting one that fits her form. I mean, they're not cheap dresses. If you're going to lay down that kind of cash, get one with boob cups that can contain you boobs. Sophie Simmons, Gene Simmons' daughter, has grown up to be smokin' hot. But I still remember her as the sweet 13-year-old girl when their reality show first started and her nude illusion dress is just a little bit too nude. Carmen Electra: Girl, no.
