Comment of the Day: No Matter Who You Are, Pinning Is Winning

Today we took a little visit through the NRA's Pinterest boards, and Seize imagined what it might be like when a gun-toting man discovered the joy of Pinterest:

The scene opens in a trailer in the rural US.

Clevon (to self): Ah like women, ah like guns, and ah sure do like huntin' - mebbe I should jest put 'em all in the Google thingee together and see what the durn thing crunches out.

Clevon (after laborious typing and pause): Sweet holy Moses, they got huntin' women totin' automatic weapons on this internet! What do you mean 'I want to pin it?' Of COURSE I want to pin it!

Clevon pins it, and sits back, satisfied.

Clevon: I sure am goin' to have to tell the boys about this.

Submit nominations to the Comment of the Day tag page. Click on the comment's time stamp, and post the comment's URL to the forum along with the tag #cotd. (Replying to a comment with "#cotd" does not work.)

Use #trollpatrol to report comments that you feel the editors/mods should be aware of. Try not to respond to/approve/promote trollish comments in the threads — instead, just post the comment on the #trollpatrol page, the same way you'd post a comment on #groupthink or on the #cotd page, and the editors/mods will take care of it.
