It's said that good things come to those who wait, and that certainly seems to be the case for Louise White. The 81-year-old from Rhode Island just won a $336.5 million Powerball jackpot, the third-largest jackpot in the game's history. White, whom her lawyers describe as a "vivacious octogenarian," bought the $3 ticket at a Stop & Shop supermarket. She'll now take home the $210 million lump sump payment, which she smartly chose over the 30 payments over 29 years option. White said of the win, "I want to say that I'm very happy and I'm very proud. This will make my family very happy." She's quite the lucky lady, but I hope she's ready for lots of people to start subtly slipping questions about who exactly is in her will into casual conversation.
