Pat Sajak admitted in an interview with ESPN2 today that he was often drunk when he filmed Wheel of Fortune back in the day. Thank you, Pat, for confirming what most of us already knew in our hearts. He spilled the dirty details about what went on during the breaks between shows, and they're actually pretty hilarious.

At NBC in Burbank we had a place called Los Arcos across the street — which is Spanish, as you know, for 'The Arcos' — and they served great margaritas. Vanna and I would go across and have two or three or six and then come and do the last shows and have trouble recognizing the alphabet.

Not the most professional behavior, but in fairness to him, Wheel of Fortune is a lot more fun to watch when you're intoxicated. He's since cleaned up his act and doesn't have the tolerance he once did: "Now, if I were to inhale the cork in a bottle of wine, I'd probably keel over." Demi Moore has been released from the hospital. Meanwhile her supposed friends are telling the tabloids that she's spiraled out of control: "Her life is completely in crisis. She is turning 50 and has no idea who she is or what her focus should be." In timing that has nothing to do with Demi's release, Ashton Kutcher is on his way back to the US from Brazil. A source has said, "Ashton is deeply concerned for Demi. He still cares about her and wants the best for her. But their marriage is ending and they are both moving on with their lives." Jeremy Irons couldn't attend a press conference at Sundance for his new film The Words, so he skyped in. In a move that makes Mr. Irons only more loveable, he interrupted the conference and asked to see his costar Bradley Cooper, who was in attendance. He said, "Could you please turn the camera towards Bradley for me. My (assistant) is sitting on the floor here and she's very keen to see him up close." Once the camera was on Cooper, Iron followed up with "Okay Bradley, now smolder for me." Best boss ever. [USA Today]

Proving that even highly successful actors have their worries, Jessica Chastain lives in fear that she's going to be fired:
